Easifix ALLinONE Acid Dyes – Stove Top Method

1. Weigh the facric/yarns to be dyed. For medium shades use 5gms of dye (1 level reaspoon) of fabric Dissolve the dye crystals in a little hot water.

2. Fill an enamel or stainless steel pan with enough warm water to cover fabric. Add dye to the dye bath.

3. If you are using ‘Shade Control’ medium add it to the dye bath at this stage (see details below).

4. Add rhe fabric to the dye bath and slowly raise the temperature and simmer for 20/30 minutes, stirring slowly & carefully to ensure even dyeing.

5. Allow to cool slowly. Finish with a cool wash. Rinse until the water runs clear. Dry & iron.

Shade Control Medium (Optional)

For use when dyeing ple or medium hades. It controls the rate of dye transfer onto the fabric making it eier to achieve a particular shade along with level dyeing. Stir into the dye bath before heating. (see 3 above).
