Very rare cases of respiratory sensitisation have been reported with prolonged and extensive use of reactive class dyestuffs in industry of which Procion is one type.
4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
Inhalation
In the unlikely event of symptoms due to inhalation remove person to fresh air. If patient is unwell, seek medical advice.
Skin Contact
Wash thoroughly with soap and water. In the unlikely event of sensitivity, seek medical advice.
Eye Contact
Irrigate copiously with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Should irritation occur, seek medical advice.
Ingestion
Wash out mouth thoroughly with plenty of water. Give plenty of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. In the event of sensitivity, seek medical advice.

16. OTHER INFORMATION
All dyes supplied by Colourcraft C & A Limited have been approved as safe for use – they do not containany dissolvable heavy metals and are compliant with the 5th amendment of the German Consumer Goods Ordinance April 18 1997 (re-published on December 23 1997 and the 6th amendment of 8 March 2000) end theEC Directive 2002/61/EC. Also, no banned amines are generated following azo bond cleavage from any azo dyes.
Care should always be taken to avoid inhalation of fine powders whether these are dyes, other chemicals, flour or even icing sugar, particularly when used extensively. Persons suffering from asthma or anyother respiratory problems should not handle synthetic or natural dyes. In the event of previous sensitivity to any art, craft, dye or household products, we recommend consulting a physician before participating in art and craft activities. Children should use under adult supervision.
