Vlieseline® Soluvlies
Water Soluble Embroidery Nonwoven
The characteristics to embroidery appliques or directly onto the Soluvlies completed and is ideal for designs and allow to dry.
Create unsupported lace enable motifs, embroider on very fine and transparent fabric. When design is free – wash away Soluvlies and hand lace motifs.
Soluvlies is ideally suited for collages. Try the sandwich process – to do this place a layer of Soluvlies underneath, lay the materials (fabric bits, ribbons, lace etc.) on top and cover with another layer of Soluvlies. Stitch all layers together using decorative stitching. Designs can be traced, sewn with a zig-zag stitch and then cut out. When all stitching is complete, wash away with Soluvlies.
Mini-quilts – even with very narrow seam allowances – can easily be created using Soluvlies. Just draw the sewing lines on the Soluvlies and start sewing. Wash out Soluvlies in cold water – do not tear off! Press seams when complete.
