Description
A specially formulated, high performance Opaque Screen Printing Binder for creating
deep/brilliant prints on dyed/dark fabrics – no underbase is required
It mixes easily with our range of Eco Concentrated Colour Dispersions and Eco
Fluorescent Concentrated Colour Dispersions (up to a maximum 6%) to produce a wide
variety of colours and shades
Also suitable for producing coloured imitation discharge effects with non dischargeable
fabrics and dyes
The screen printing inks are heat fixed for 3 minutes at 165°C- 170°C
Mesh: 43 – 77T (110 – 196) mesh screens
Wash screens using water and a mild detergent
The opaque printing binder is part of our Eco- friendly, water based printing system
which provides a soft handle on fabric, brilliance of colour and a high yield with excellent
all round fastness
Different effects can be achieved depending on which of the Screen Printing Binders is
mixed with the Eco Concentrated Colour Dispersions:
The Solvent Free Soft Handle Standard Binder is used for creating standard printing colours,
the Opaque Printing Binder is for use on dark/dyed fabrics, ExpandIT 3D Texture Medium
for creating textured prints, the Pearl Printing Binder for shimmering pearl and metallic
effects and for a superb crazed, cracked effect use the Fabric Crackle Glaze & Precoat
We also have a special clear printing binder available for use when printing with our Pearl
Powder Pigments and Heat Resistant Glitter Crystals to allow the full sheen of the products
to shine through
Suitable fabric: Cotton, poly/cotton blends.
Most fabrics are suitable. Fabrics with a low surface adhesion will require special care during
the drying process. It is always a good idea to carry out test prints on a small piece of fabric
to ensure the results will be as anticipated
